Futsal tournament

Today and tomorrow IMPACT is helping out with an event that includes a futsal tournament and a Kids Games outreach. Futsal is like soccer but on a smaller hard court with a heavier ball. Our interns have made teams amongst themselves and are actually playing in the tournament. Here are some pictures from the day!

Zoe made lots of friends and of course gave them all hugs like she does to most kids she sees!

Stellenbosch Sport Coalition Futsal tournament

This weekend we are partnering together with the Stellenbosch Sport Coalition hosting the futsal tournament. We are very excited. Please pray for the tournament, for the participants and for The Lords will to be done.

IMPACT South Africa

Impact South Africa has started and today is day 14.  We praise God for all the amazing things that happened already and we have 7 weeks left.  

One of the topics that we discussed was our insecurities.  As disciples of Christ, our insecurities can hold us back from following God completely.  Whether our insecurity is not having enough money, always seeking recognition, always feeling like you have to perform to receive God's love, etc.  

Whatever insecurity we have...God calls us to lay it at the cross.  He died for us so that we may be completely free!  What are the insecurities in your life that are holding you back from following God with everything that you have?

Jennifer arrives on Wednesday!

Jennifer received her visa and is arriving in Wednesday morning in South Africa!  After a long wait she received her visa is heading to her new home.  We have been waiting in eager expectation for her.  This is truly an answer to prayer.  We praise God and believe that whatever happened, happened according to His plans and purposes.
